This Heavy Duty Grocery Tote Bag Sewing Pattern is made with the goal in mind, to stand up on it's own and hold very heavy products. I have used this bag many times for groceries but will admit the true test has been using it as a library book bag for my children. It had held many heavy books and is still just as sturdy as the day I made it.
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: 14" Tall (NOT including the handles) by 11" Wide and 8" Deep.
DIFFICULTY LEVEL: Beginner/Intermediate
FABRIC REQUIREMENTS:
- Fabric A: 3/4 Yard
- Fabric B: 1/2 Yard
- Fabric C: 3/4 Yard
- Woven Fusible Interfacing: 1 1/4 Yard
- Webbing: 3 Yards
*You will also need a teflon sewing foot.
This pattern assumes you have basic sewing supplies: Things like a Sewing Machine, Cutting Mat, Ruler, Rotary Cutter, Pins.
