I am Tamara and I'm the creator of Tamara's Joy.
Creating things is what brings me the most joy. If you were to walk into any room in my home I would be able to point something out that I have made. And yes...most likely it is made from fabric. But I did dabble in woodworking for a few years, so I do have some fun furniture pieces I have created as well!
I have been married to my best friend for over twenty years and counting. We have two handsome boys who we were incredibly blessed to adopt into our family from birth. They are in their teen years now and I am trying my best to soak up every second of time I get to spend with them.
I recently retired from my job as a church secretary and am officially jumping full time into teaching fun sewing projects for beginners on youtube as well as creating easy to follow sewing patterns. With the hope that more people will fall in love with all that sewing has to offer.
One of my favorite sewing tutorials I like to share with beginners is my simple tote bag tutorial (it is a great place to start).
